Firefighters rescue pets from Woodville bungalow fire

WOODVILLE, N.S. —
A Woodville bungalow is badly damaged following a blaze that broke out Friday afternoon.
Firefighters were dispatched to the scene behind the Woodville Community Centre around 4 p.m.
Smoke and flames could be seen from the front of the house when firefighters arrived, said Waterville and District Fire Department spokesperson Kevin Ernest.
“(The) fire was knocked down quickly.”
No one was home as flames spread through the small bungalow, but Ernest said the pets were rescued.
Fire departments from Kentville and Berwick assisted Waterville on the fire call, which wrapped up around 6 p.m.
The cause was deemed accidental.
